Healing through Connection and Care

Trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and culturally safe therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

Clinical Counselling Services

At Aurora Wellness Group, our counselling services are designed to meet people where they’re at. We honour lived experience, build trusting relationships, and support people navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and more.

Individual Counselling

Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, grief, or simply need someone to talk to, our counsellors are here to support you. We offer compassionate, professional care tailored to your needs—whether you're surviving the day or planning for a better future. Available in-person in Whitehorse or via phone/video.

Youth Counselling

Our Clinical Counsellors specialize in supporting teens facing challenges like substance use, self-harm, trauma, grief, anxiety, ADHD, and life transitions. We provide a safe space for youth to be heard, understood, and guided through tough times.

Child Therapy

We offer play and art-based therapy for children experiencing emotional or behavioural challenges, big life changes, or neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and FASD. Sessions are held at our Whitehorse office in a supportive, child-centered environment.

Couples Counselling

Couples counselling supports partners in improving communication, navigating life changes, resolving conflicts, and reconnecting with one another. Whether you're building a life together, healing after a rupture, or exploring separation, our therapists provide a safe, supportive space for reflection and growth.

Perinatal Counselling

Perinatal counselling offers support for individuals navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, difficult births, or postpartum mood and anxiety issues. You don’t have to face these struggles alone. Sessions are available in-person or through telehealth with Stephanie, who is specially trained in perinatal care.

Psychoeducational Assessments

We offer comprehensive assessments to identify learning needs, giftedness, developmental delays, and academic strengths and challenges. These evaluations provide families and schools with meaningful insights to support emotional well-being and educational success.

Social-Emotional Assessments

We provide assessments for children, youth, and adults related to mental health diagnoses (e.g., anxiety, depression), behavioural concerns (e.g., ODD, Conduct Disorder), and ADHD. These evaluations offer clarity and direction for support planning.

MMIWG+ Counselling

We are honoured to offer counselling through the MMIWG+ program funded by Indigenous Services Canada. If you or someone you love has been impacted by the loss or disappearance of an Indigenous woman, girl, or 2SLGBTQIA+ person, we are here to support you.

Indian Residential School Counselling

Our team provides counselling through the Indian Residential School Resolution Health Support Program. If you or your family members are survivors of Residential Schools, support is available through this federally funded program.
