At Aurora Wellness Group, our work is guided by shared values and bold action. We are committed to:

  • We work with communities, not just in them. Our programming is responsive, relationship-based, and rooted in cultural humility.

  •  We align our work with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action, supporting culturally safe care, Indigenous-led healing, and the restoration of traditional knowledge.

  •  Our team is trained in delivering inclusive care that recognizes systemic harm and prioritizes emotional safety and collaboration.

  •  We honour diverse ways of thinking, being, and healing. Our services are adaptable, accessible, and affirm neurodivergent identities.

  •  From Pay-What-You-Can counselling to informed consent policies, we work to reduce barriers and build trust in mental health care.

Territorial acknowledgement

Aurora Wellness Group’s main office is located in downtown Whitehorse, on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'an Kwäch'än Council. We greatly acknowledge and respect the peoples and land and are honoured to be able to live and work in this beautiful land.

We also have counsellors and psychologists that travel to communities throughout the Yukon and Northwest Territories. We are honoured to be invited to work and travel on the traditional land of the Dene, Gwich’in, and Inuvialuit people.
