Bringing Healing Home Through Art, Story, and Connection

The Art of Healing is a traveling wellness series that brings together art, storytelling, and therapeutic support to reconnect communities across the Yukon. Led by local indigenous artists and counsellor Stephanie Leithead, this three-day experience offers a space for creative expression, collective healing, and cultural reflection.

Healing Through Story, Culture & Creativity

The tour blends art-based workshops, counselling support, and community gathering spaces to invite participants into a process of reflection, release, and reconnection. It’s not just about making art—it’s about making space for healing, together.

Each stop on the tour includes:

  • Group art sessions led by local indigenous artists

  • Open studio time and creative exploration

  • Morning intention circles and shared meals

  • Optional one-on-one support with a clinical counsellor

  • Local collaboration with Elders, youth workers, and cultural leaders

We host workshops in accessible, welcoming spaces like community halls, youth centres, and Elder’s lounges, ensuring everyone feels safe and included.

Who It’s For:

  • Youth, adults, and Elders of all backgrounds

  • Communities looking to hold space for healing after loss, change, or collective stress

  • People seeking connection through creativity, culture, and care
