Meeting Yukon Communities Where They Are

At Aurora Wellness Group, we believe that mental health care should be accessible to everyone—no matter where they live. That’s why we’re currently developing a Mobile Mental Health Clinic to serve rural and remote Yukon communities.

This project is still in the works—but the vision is clear: to bring culturally safe, community-led, and relationship-based care directly to the people who need it most.

Our Vision:

A traveling mental health team made up of counsellors, cultural facilitators, and community wellness workers

Create a travelling clinic that can park in any community, school, or gathering space and offer immediate, high-quality mental health care.

A flexible model that meets the unique needs of each community—co-designed in partnership with local leadership and knowledge keepers

Access to mental health support in the Yukon shouldn’t depend on geography. For many people, the nearest counsellor may be hundreds of kilometres away. Our mobile clinic aims to bridge this gap, making care more immediate, relational, and grounded in the realities of northern life.

We’re building this project with intention—and we’d love to hear from communities who are interested in partnering with us.
